Moving content
Moving pages
In order to move pages, you need to be in the admin interface looking at the page tree. Simply drag the page node to it's new parent. See below for instructions on changing the page order.
Copying pages
In the admin interface, there are buttons for cut, copy, and paste. Please locate these first. There are tooltips for every button if you mouse over the button for a short while.
To copy a node with it's children, first select the node. Then press the copy button. Select the new parent node you want to paste the node to. Press the paste button in the toolbar.
Name collisions and other faults during copy/move
If there already is a node with the same name as the one you are trying to paste at the target location, you will be presented with a dialog asking you for another name for the node you are pasting, with the option to cancel.
There are some nodes that aren't allowed as content in other nodes. You will be alerted if you try to copy a node to a place where it's not allowed.
Sorting pages
In the admin interface there are two tiny up and down arrows in the leftmost part of the toolbar. Select the page you want to move up or down among it's siblings and click the corresponding arrow. You can only move a page within it's parent node with the sorting arrows.
