Background

In september 2006 I went looking for a CMS for an non-profit organization I support.  Since episerver that I work with most of the days is out of price range I went looking for free alternatives.

My requirements were:

  • free
  • .net 2.0
  • easy to get started with
  • open source
  • nice editor interface
Evaluating dotnetnuke, cuyahoga, sprocket, umbraco I wasn't completely convinced (often due to large codebases, focus on templates and lateness in adopting .NET 2.0), and so... here is N2.

It's been mutch fun to make and it would be truly great if it can be useful to you.
